INPRO 2026 Barcelona – Global Export Packaging Meeting

INPRO 2026 – Global Export Packaging Collaboration

The latest meeting of INPRO – International Packing & Routing Organisation in Barcelona once again confirmed the growing importance of international cooperation in the global export packaging and industrial logistics.

Hosted by Grupo Embalex, the event brought together 32 participants from 16 countries, representing experienced professionals, family-owned businesses and global industrial packaging specialists focused on the future of international trade and logistics.

Global Expertise in Export Packaging and Industrial Logistics

The Barcelona meeting focused on some of the most important challenges currently shaping the export packaging industry, including:

  • digital transformation,
  • customs and regulatory changes,
  • sustainability,
  • global supply chain uncertainty,
  • and international business development.

A central theme was the increasing need for companies to become more digitally integrated and operationally flexible, while maintaining the highest standards of cargo protection, compliance, and efficiency.

For INPRO members, collaboration goes beyond networking. The organisation provides a trusted international platform for sharing technical know-how, operational experience, and strategic insights—enhancing export packaging and industrial logistics solutions worldwide.

Family Businesses Driving Industry Innovation

One of the most inspiring aspects of the INPRO meeting was the strong presence of next-generation from family-owned companies.

Their involvement highlights how tradition, long-term thinking and innovation can successfully work together in today’s global export and logistics environment.

As part of the programme, participants were also given a broader overview of the host’s operational ecosystem.

These insights provided additional context into the scale and diversity of operations supporting modern industrial packaging and logistics environments.

More detailed information about these companies will be shared in a dedicated follow-up article.

Building the Future Together

INPRO continues to strengthen its position as a global network built on trust, expertise and long-term cooperation.

By connecting export packaging specialists, industrial logistics providers and internationally operating family businesses, the organisation creates real value for companies navigating increasingly complex global markets.

The Barcelona meeting clearly highlighted one key direction: the future of export packaging belongs to companies that combine quality, sustainability, innovation, and collaboration.
